One of the most famous music festivals that ever took place was The Woodstock Music and Art Fair. Held on a farm property in Bethel, New York, this festival was organized by four inexperienced promoters. Over the years, the acts included the likes of Jimi Hendrix, the Who and Ravi Shankar, just to name a few.
