...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Oregon...Owyhee River Below Owyhee Dam affecting Malheur County..High releases will continue from Owyhee Dam to make space in thereservoir for additional mountain snow melt. Expect minor floodingdownstream from the dam.For the Owyhee River...including Owyhee Dam, Owyhee Dam...Minorflooding is forecast.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Owyhee River below Owyhee Dam.* WHEN...Until further notice.* IMPACTS...At 3,000 cfs, Low lying roads, river access andrecreation sites adjacent to the river will flood. Farm equipmentnear the river may need to be moved.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 10:30 AM MDT Wednesday /9:30 AM PDT Wednesday/ the flowwas 3,631 cfs.- Bankfull stage is 1,000 cfs.- Recent Activity...The maximum river flow in the 24 hoursending at 10:30 AM MDT Wednesday /9:30 AM PDT Wednesday/ was3,666 cfs.- Forecast...The river is expected to remain near 3,600 cfsthrough Saturday, May 04.- Flood flow is 3,000 cfs.- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of3,560 cfs on 04/20/1999.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
