Sheryl has been an integral part of the TWN team for over a decade both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. We love her so much we brought her back in front of the green screen in 2013 where she is committed to bringing you her best.
Sheryl joined The Weather Network in 2000 and after 10 years on the air she left her role as a Weather Expert to take a behind-the-scenes job as manager to our bureaus and writers. Managing a large, high performance team of coast-to-coast reporters and TV and digital writers, Sheryl’s focus was to lead the team to tell stories that resonate with our audience.
In her ‘spare’ time, Sheryl taught Television Performance at Conestoga College in Kitchener, Ontario from 2005-2008.
She first caught the broadcasting bug at the young age of 18 when she volunteered at Shaw Cable in Nanaimo, B.C. - lucky for us!
