Margeaux brings her own brand of "cheer" to the broadcast centre as a video journalist.
Margeaux joined The Weather Network in 2013 but her path to get here demonstrates she was meant to be on TV. As a member of the Edmonton Eskimos Cheer Team from 2005-2009, Margaeux hosted the television show "The Green and Gold Gridiron Show". This led to multiple hosting and commercial gigs for organizations like the Grey Cup, VacationsCanada.tv and The Calgary Stampede.
Margeaux decided to solidify her career in broadcasting with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and a Broadcast Journalism Certificate from the New York Film Academy. She’s got cred!
What does Margeaux love about the weather?
It’s fascinating, beautiful and dangerous at times. As a born and raised Albertan I have seen phenomenal weather events unfold in our beautiful province, and understand the need for fast, accurate and responsible weather reporting, especially if dangerous weather events are in store.
- Margeaux puts us all to shame with her love of fitness and working out
