Lyndsay brings a daily dose of sunshine to her weather broadcasts - no matter what the conditions are outside. With a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Ryerson University, Lyndsay began her on-air career at Rogers TV Peel Region, where she was a news reporter for First Local, the in-studio host of "High School SportsZone," and a remote arena host during the OHL playoffs. Lyndsay has also worked on the red carpet during the Toronto International Film Festival, and she has been lucky enough to cover events that are close to her heart, including the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
Lyndsay spent her childhood living in Victoria, British Columbia before moving to Oakville, Ontario. A former dance champion, Lyndsay now teaches Highland and Musical Theatre to young students. She also enjoys snowboarding, watching hockey, traveling and spending long summer days at her cottage.
Lyndsay first joined The Weather Network as an intern and news writer in the summer of 2006, and has been working as an on-air presenter since May 2010. Lyndsay is also a web journalist and The Weather Network's resident "social media expert." She broadcasts live weather reports from viewers during "StormWatch" and other special segments. You might also find her posting fun facts and trivia to the company's Facebook and Twitter pages.
