As the morning anchor for the GTA show Emily makes sure you have everything you need to know to plan your day.
Emily joined us in 2006 after getting her start on air at an 80's pop radio station in Kingston, Ontario. Tired of Cyndi Lauper and Duran Duran, Emily made the leap to television, moving over to CKWS TV doing weather broadcasting.
Emily received an Honours degree in Sociology from the University of Western Ontario before realizing her love of broadcasting. She graduated from the Broadcast Journalism program at Seneca College.
What does Emily love about the weather?
One of the things that I love about weather is that it's always changing. Living in Canada gives us such a wonderful opportunity to experience all types of weather. From wicked snowstorms to blistering hot summer days, we really get everything Mother Nature can throw at us!
- Always willing to give back Emily supports the Oakville/Milton Humane Society and ALS Society of Canada
- Golden Doodle Roxy is her best friend when she’s not spending quality time with her husband and daughter
- Gardening is a hobby, weather permitting of course
