Kim MacDonald
Kim MacDonald is happy to be teamed up with Chris Murphy once again to bring you all of your weather news and information every morning. She realizes that first thing in the morning, people need to know how to plan their day, and what to talk about with their friends and co-workers. It's well known that weather is what Canadians love to discuss. Kim was born in Pembroke Ontario but grew up in the beautiful Niagara Region. She is a graduate of Brock University where she received her BA in Communications and attended Niagara College for Radio/Television and Film.
Kim began her television career at the tender age of five on the Tiny Talent Time Christmas special. Her real break, however, came when she was hired as a radio morning show co-host and news anchor in St. Catharines.
In May 1998 she joined The Weather Network where she has become a friendly, familiar face over the years covering the "highs" and "lows" of Canadian and International weather.
Kim feels like active weather follows her....like the tornado that touched down less than a mile from her home, and the microburst that brought down trees around the cottage she rented in the Kawarthas.
She currently resides in Hamilton with her husband and two children. Spare time is mostly reserved for family but Kim can often be seen hosting charity events to raise awareness for causes close to her heart.
Carrie OlverBeing a second generation television broadcaster, many of Carrie's childhood memories were of the inside of a television studio. Carrie's own career on the air began at the Shopping Channel, where her talent and passion for live performance was quickly noticed and she was recruited to host in the United States. After racking up more than 2000 hours of live television experience in the US, Carrie headed back to Canada to host the internationally syndicated television series Spectacular Spas, where she traveled the world in search of spas in exotic locations. Her work on this program earned her a Gemini nomination in 2002, and through her travels she realized the important relationship between health and climate, sparking her interest in weather. Born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Carrie loves the rich variety of Canada's climate and broadcasting the weather conditions to Canadians every weekend.

He is also fascinated with a broad range of musical tastes - everything from jazz to hip hop.
Lyndsay MorrisonAs a long-time member of The Weather Network's news team, Lyndsay knows how important it is to keep Canadians informed about what's going on in their own backyard. She has helped cover some of the country's biggest weather stories in recent years, from powerful hurricanes and deadly tornadoes, to major snowstorms and fierce forest fires. Lyndsay is thrilled to be stepping in front of the camera and connecting with viewers in a whole new way.
Lyndsay has a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Ryerson University, and has worked as a TV host and reporter in news, sports and entertainment. She grew up in Victoria, British Columbia before moving to southern Ontario with her family. Lyndsay's travels around the world to different climates have shown her just how much the weather can have an effect on people's daily lives.
When she's not tracking storms and hunting down the latest news stories, Lyndsay loves to snowboard, watch hockey and spend long summer days at her cottage. A former highland dancing champion, Lyndsay now teaches highland and musical theatre to young dance students.
