1) On your cellphone or mobile device, find the "Message" function from the main menu. Select "Text Message".
Choose to "Create a Message"

2) In the "Address" or "Phone Number" screen enter the short code you are calling and indicate "Okay".

3) In the "Message" screen, enter the "Sea to Sky" with NO punctuation (do not add any apostrophes, dashes, commas or periods) then indicate "Okay".
Press the "Send Message" key.

4) In a few seconds, a confirmation email will be sent to your mobile phone. It is that easy!

5) An Alert will be sent to your phone automatically as it happens.

The charge for each delivered Road Alerts message is $0.25 per use. You will not be charged any service fees or any additional charges if there are no Alerts sent.

British Columbia’s Ministry of Transportation is undertaking improvements to the highway between Horseshoe Bay and Whistler to improve its safety and reliability. The project will be complete by 2009.
