Every summer we boat over to Batchewana Island from our cottage on Baycrest Rd. off the Trans Canada Hwy (just before Chippewa Falls). Daughter's boyfriend decides to observe nature up close by attempting to sneak up on a moose grazing on the weeds 200 feet off the shores of Batchewana Island. The back drop is the south western tip of the island on the right side and the mainland on the left side with the open waters of Lake Superior to the west.
