I listened to Chris St Clair on The Weather Network talking about the low rainfall in Ottawa this spring & wondered what effect it's having. So far, most plants are green & growing as these pictures show. I took them along a recreation trail in the Greenbelt between Woodroffe Ave and Merivale Rd. I also saw a field of early grain (winter wheat?) that is green. Even so, the trail is a bit dry for this time of year. There's already summer dust, eh?
