Boab Tree

392 views george kreif October 3, 2015 Derby, Western Australia, Australia Date shot: September 13, 2015

I recently spent time (one month) in The Kimberleys, Western Australia. The Kimberleys are considered the "Outback of Outbacks" by Australians and are called one of the last wilderness areas in the world. This is a capture of a Boab tree, common to the Kimbereleys. Located just outside the town of Derby, this particular tree is known as the "Prison Tree."
