"What was that white bird?" asked my neighbour, who was over for a coffee. I looked, and there was this young albino Hairy Woodpecker. It was being shown around by its Dad, going from feeder to feeder, into trees, just getting the lay of the land, and where it could find food. It has the telltale red eyes of an albino bird. It's going to have a difficult life, as it stands out so much. Wish it luck!
