This Great Blue Heron was fishing right beside the Kate Pace Way bridge over the Lavase River as several people were out walking, myself included. No one else noticed this beautiful bird there but I noticed a very tall, thick Common Cattail (Typha latifolia) that looked to have feathers on it. I looked at it without moving my head but it was aware its cover was blown so it straightened up to make itself taller, lol. It STILL didn't fool me.
