Why it's a Yellow Shafted Flicker

379 views Port Skipper June 28, 2013 Port Perry, Ontario Canada Date shot: June 27, 2013

This Northern Yellow Shafted Flicker was scaring a starling away. I was not ready for the shot so it is blurry. You do get to see the yellow colouring of its under-feathers and their shafts though.
