The Magnetawan waterfront looking like spring in early March with two pair of trumpeter swans passing thru and the dam area almost clear of snow. That wasn't to last though. Migratory birds have arrived, the Sandhill Cranes among other species, with -15C temps at night and new snow. Yikes! The Evening Grosbeaks and this Ruffed Grouse will be fine though as we all wait for it to stay warm.
