I arrived at the Swans' home in the Nonquon / Port Perry Lagoons Saturday morning as they were lined up to swim out for breakfast. To my surprise the largest of the cygnets was the first to enter the water. Mom was close behind but the whole family was soon heading out to eat, with the cygnet leading the way. What got me was the cygnet on shore up on its hind legs looking like it is cheering its nest mate on. I have never seen them stand up like that. The whole scene was Swanderful !
