I was weathered out of the lagoons for a few days but got in this morning. I was able to get closer still and got this pic that shows : 1) this cygnet has adopted the beak under the wing sleeping position and 2) the covering of fluff on the chicks is beginning to be replaced by feathers. The wings were very tiny just days ago. The feathers will soon be covering the birds at this rate of growth. I took this during what seemed to be a peening lesson by the adults. I posted a separate pic of it.
