This White-breasted Nuthatch seemed a little confused as it looked around the snow covered rocks which also had several items to eat as left behind by caring people before I got there. There was a variety of bird seeds, lettuce for the 'rabbits', and now lots of peanut halves, some cracked corn and black oil sunflower seeds which I had brought along. It wasn't long before it zeroed in on the peanuts as its favorite making many trips to eat and stash the food before something else got it.
