I just posted a picture of Trumpeter Swans I took this afternoon. They are Canada's largest bird. It just struck me that the first picture I took this morning was of a female Ruby-Throat Humming Bird. Surely one of our smallest birds. I think the Calliope hummingbird ( west coast) is smaller. But what a contrast in size in one day. Only in Canada you say?
