This puffed up immature White-crowned Sparrow was tucked in out of the bright light, given off by the setting sun over Lake Nipissing, after spending some time with other Sparrows and some Juncos in a field of dreams. The field was covered with an assortment of plants all of which seemed to be laden with seeds at the sames time. Hmm, maybe it wasn't puffed up but full?!?
