This male Hairy Woodpecker has been busy pounding away on this Birch Tree every day I've walked by it. By the looks of it Mrs. Hairy may have changed her mind about the hole location for a possible nest as there was an older attempt just to the left of the new location. I couldn't hear him working at the time for all the birds singing this day. (video posted)
