We were lucky to have a pair of Great Crested Flycatchers nest in our backyard in Wasaga Beach around our pond this summer. We named them Sonny & Cher. This is Cher with food for her nestlings on Day 8. They started off with small offerings of damselflies, spiders, etc. and soon graduated to Lion Ants and large Dragonflies. These birds are pretty amazing, they migrate from South America and back every year. Safe trip Sonny, Cher and juveniles.
