While out on errands I just happened to notice some birds in a tree so pulled my camera out to check them out. As it turned out they were (VIDEO uploaded) female Pine Grosbeaks, one of which had been singing for a few minutes when I arrived, and then flew off to some other trees, possibly to meet one of the male birds. This one made my neck sore watching it eat some small crabapples off of the tree, relishing every last bite she took, while keeping an eye on me as well.
