Went outside this morning, it was bitterly cold, brrrrr. Found that "Eggy" the Blue Jay was standing as quiet as a mouse amid one of two of my wooden bird feeders. Was like watching a sentinel. Yes, I did leave some peanuts to his regular sunflower seeds with hopes that he would perk up and so he did :-)
