It is somewhat disappointing that the young ones are so small that even with my 150 X 600 mm Super Telephoto Zoom lens it is difficult to get the detail one wants when photographing the but they grow very fast and soon the will be big enough to get a descent detailed picture. One has to remember that when they are born they are not much bigger that your fist so considering they are about 100 meters away it's not bad. The sheer size and power of these majestic birds is a blessing just to be able to see them. Somehow a picture does not do them the same justice as actually seeing them live and in person. Two of the three eggs have now hatched and the third and final egg is beginning to show signs of activity. The weather has been relatively good but still breezy and cold. More and more people come to the area to see the eagles now especially now that the eggs are hatching.
