The stray cat that has been hanging about finally allowed me to approach her today. She was quite hungry and enjoyed a feast of dry cat food. After lots of soft talking, she let me approach her and then she started purring and rubbing against my hand. Much to her dismay, I bundled her into a carrier and we paid the vet a visit. They confirmed what I suspected...she is about to give birth. Very soon. She is currently enjoying the cool and quite confines of one of my bedrooms.
