While walking along the trail in the Laurier Woods Conservation Area I saw these Painted Turtles enjoying their time in the sunshine which was hit and miss this day, a common theme lately. The smallest one was slow to notice me hiding mostly behind a tree but the wise old one saw me the instant I brought the camera up for a shot. I only got this one shot as both were gone in the blink of an eye! Hmm, I thought I was being stealthy, lol.
