Sometimes you just luck out. Took a break this am drove into get a coffee at starbucks and short detour on route home looking for a snowy owl. Well this fox and his partner were coming across a field and crossed the side road within 20 feet of me after I stopped the car and got out. I actually closed the car door in case they wanted a ride. Of course I was fumbling with the camera in the excitement but managed a few shots.
