Early morning outside the cabin. I was observing the young buck when I noticed an unsuspecting coyote approach and stop when confronted by the buck who turned to face it. The buck stamped its feet a few times to deter the coyote and then leisurely jumped away. The coyote continued its path seemingly uninterested in the deer. Nice exchange to witness.
