After grabbing some seeds, a Flying Squirrel scoots back up the tree. Flying Squirrels like to glide downward diagonally from tree to tree. Once they land on the second tree they run up the tree a bit to gain a bit more height before gliding down to the next tree. They tend to stick around near a grouping of trees in case there are predators around.
