It was snowing hard but a hungry (VIDEO uploaded) Snowshoe Hare has to eat when the food is available. After a short side trip I was close to the 'feeding' area when a large Snowshoe Hare crossed the trail to look for food. I thought it would eat the lettuce left behind by someone but no, it went straight for the pile of peanuts I had left for the Red Squirrel (& birds) and started eating them while nervously looking around. It took off as snowmobiles approached but did return soon after.
