This is what the skies looked like just south of a massive thunderstorm that ripped through Ottawa on Sept 5th 2014. On our way home from picking up our son from the daycare we drove right in the heart of the storm in the Orleans area driving down Frank Kenny road towards Limoges. The lightning was intense and very frequent and the visibility from the horizontal rain and very strong wind was no more then about 10 feet in front of us.
