February 7, 2012 — After days of spring-like weather, seasonal temperatures return to southern Ontario.

January was one of the warmest on record in Toronto, and so far, February has been playing out much the same.

On Monday, several places in southern Ontario reached new record highs. Sarnia didn't manage to break any daily records, but was the hot spot of the province with a day time high just over 10 degrees.

"I can't believe it, everybody can't believe it. It's so, so beautiful," said one resident enjoying the mild conditions on Monday.

Most people across the region used any excuse to get outside and enjoy the warmer weather, especially since temperatures are starting to drop.

"It will be feeling a lot more like winter on Tuesday as a cold front slides through," says Gerald Cheng, a meteorologist at The Weather Network. "Temperatures are returning to seasonal values for the next couple of days."
