Winter Games update: Are warm temperatures turning Sochi into slush?

Mountain temperatures climbed into the double digits in Sochi on Wednesday, causing some to gripe about slushy conditions on the slopes.
American skier Billy Demong told media that he felt like he was "skiing on a layer of fur" during Wednesday's Nordic Combined competition.

Friday isn't looking much better, with a daytime high of 15°C in the forecast.
But the weather doesn't appear to be having an impact on Team Canada. As of Thursday at 8 p.m. EST , Canada is sitting in second place -- three gold medals behind Germany.
