Window washers brave winds, heights to spiff up skyscrapers

The idea of dangling off the side of a skyscraper would strike fear in many -- but for highrise window washers it's all in a day's work.

Weather is always a major concern for highrise workers.

Sometimes, rain, hail or snow can grind scheduled work to a halt.

"The winds can be pretty scary sometimes," admits window washer Andre Persaud, "but you've just got to know how to handle it and try to cope with it because that's the force of nature. You can't fight it."
