Wednesday could be chilly in some places, but temperatures are starting to rebound. 

Here's your daily weather brief.

Atlantic Canada

  • Maritimes: Conditions are expected to remain unsettled across Nova Scotia during the morning hours, with lingering showers in the eastern Maritimes. Rain clears out in the afternoon Temperatures are expected to rebound Thursday, ushering in warmer weather in time for the weekend.
  • Newfoundland: Showers reach Newfoundland through the day Wednesday with up to 25 mm expected in the south Avalon. 

Ontario and Quebec

  • Ontario: Cool and sunny conditions are expected again Wednesday, warming up in time for the weekend. Northwest sees isolated showers and thunderstorm risk Wednesday. Next chance of rain for the south is Friday. 
  • Quebec: Mainly Sunny. A warm up is headed to southern Quebec with Wednesday's daytime high expected to hover around the 20oC mark.

Western Canada

  • Prairies: Risk of non-severe storms in the afternoon across northwestern Alberta. Afternoon showers and storm risk in southwestern Saskatchewan. Manitoba sees sun and cloud Wednesday into Thursday. 
  • British Columbia: Residual showers along the coast in the morning. Up to 25 mm of rain continues through the central and southern Interior.
