Reporter Steve Keeley was covering the U.S. east coast snow storm in New Jersey when he had a close encounter with a snow plow.

In the video, Keeley is completely floored by a wall of snow.

He says he was standing about 20 feet from the side of the road during the incident, demonstrating just how far a fast-moving plow can throw snow.

Thankfully, Steve was fine and in good spirits:

The snowplow vs. reporter showdown has gone viral on YouTube. Dozens of videos of the incident have popped up, amassing nearly 100,000 views in 24 hours.

It has been a brutal winter in both Canada and the U.S.: According to Keeley, he has reported on 15 snow storms this winter alone.

This latest wave of snow has blanketed the north-eastern U.S., forcing some government offices to close for the third time this winter.
