Saturday, August 15, 2015, 2:36 PM - An Alberta man captured a rare moment with a Canada goose on video and has since gained more than 600,000 views on YouTube.
On Tuesday, forester Andre Bachman was driving along a country road near Edson, Alberta, west of Edmonton, when he spotted a goose who was traveling in the opposite direction.
Bachman then noticed the bird turn around and follow his truck.
Puzzled by the bird's behaviour, Bachman stopped his vehicle and started filming the encounter.
In the video above you hear the Alberta resident asking, "Are you lost? What are you doing here?"

The goose who responded with a cheep or two, was quite comfortable with Bachman. At that point, Bachman decided to lead the bird to nearby Shining Bank Lake in his truck, about 10 km away. Not once did the bird leave the truck's side.
Bachman sped up to 80 km/h, curious to see if the goose could keep up. Although it fell behind, the goose still continued to follow.
Once they both reached the lake, Bachman continued to shoot video as the bird went for a dip. There the goose was happy on the shore of the lake.
While this bird seemed quite cheerful, an angry red-winged blackbird on Parliament Hill has been notorious for attacking pedestrians.
