Each year, the Toronto Sun readers vote on a slew of categories in and around the Greater Toronto Area -- ranging from their favourite place to eat, to their favourite attraction and, of course, their favourite weather personality.
The votes have officially been cast and tallied, and for the second year in a row, The Weather Network's Kim MacDonald was honoured with a silver for 2013's Readers' Choice Favourite Weather Personality.
MacDonald made her debut in May 1998, the first day The Weather Network began broadcasting nationally from its new home in Mississauga.
"Thank-you so much Toronto Sun Readers for making a weather nerd feel cool," MacDonald says. "At The Weather Network, we have a whole team who takes pride in bringing you your forecast every day, but who could have predicted this? I am so incredibly grateful."
