The Weather Network heads to Atlantic Canada to track Gonzalo

Our group of experts at our National Forecast Centre in Oakville, Ont. and our team in Newfoundland will be providing the latest updates through the weekend. Tune into The Weather Network on TV for in-depth analysis of Gonzalo.
EXTENDED ACTIVE WEATHER COVERAGE: Tune in to The Weather Network for live updates on the summer storms in your area. Our team of reporters and meteorologists in the field provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date coverage.
We will have two field teams in place in Newfoundland to cover this major weather event, with Suzanne Leonard anchoring coverage in the studio, starting Thursday.
Here's what we have planned:
Thursday:
- Nathan Coleman will begin reporting live from St. John's starting at 5:30 a.m. ET (7 a.m. NDT)
Friday:
- Nathan Coleman will begin reporting live from St. John's starting at 5:30 a.m. ET (7 a.m. NDT)
- Chris St. Clair will begin reporting from St. John's starting at 230 p.m. ET (4 p.m. NDT)
- Storm chasers Mark Robinson and Jaclyn Whittal will spend the afternoon and evening reporting from the southern tip of the Avalon Peninsula
Saturday:
- Chris and Nathan will begin reporting live starting at 6 a.m. ET (7:30 a.m. NDT), with Suzanne in the studio
- Mark and Jaclyn will be chasing Gonzalo through the evening
Sunday:
- Chris and Nathan will begin reporting live starting at 6 a.m. ET (7:30 a.m. NDT), with Suzanne in the studio
- Mark and Jaclyn will be live through the mid-morning, speaking with people on the street
