Tuesday, February 9, 2016, 2:18 PM - Most Canadians would have a hard time visualizing what 40 centimetres of snow would like like in their backyard, but for residents of Halifax (and much of Atlantic Canada) that amount of the white stuff is now a reality after two rounds of wintry weather hit the east coast this week, causing widespread cancellations and traffic delays.
By 6 a.m. ET, Tuesday, Halifax had picked up 41 cm of snow. By the afternoon conditions continued to taper off, leaving residents to clean up what the storm left behind.
Here's a summary of Atlantic Canada's most recent storm, in 12 revealing tweets.
