Friday, March 27, 2015, 5:43 PM - Doctors strongly recommend against looking directly at a solar eclipse -- but now you can, thanks to incredible footage out of Spitsbergen, Norway.
The footage was captured on March 20, 2015 which also happened to be the equinox or first day of spring.
Many parts of the world experienced a partial eclipse -- but Norway was treated to a total solar eclipse, and Witek Kaszkin was able to capture the phenomenon on film.

This marks the first total solar eclipse to happen since November 2013 -- and the next one isn't expected until August 2017.
It will be another 19 years before an eclipse coincides with the March equinox.
