Southern Ontario escapes storm despite forecast; Expert explains why

Leading up to Canada Day, all eyes were on a line of severe storms tracking into Ontario and Quebec from the U.S.
While some rotation was detected in eastern Ontario and Quebec, southern Ontario escaped the system relatively unscathed despite the forecast one day earlier.
