Storm prompts rainfall warning for southern Saskatchewan, Manitoba

Rain associated with a developing Colorado Low is pushing into eastern Saskatchewan and western Manitoba Friday morning.

This system is expected to produce between 45-60 mm of rain in the hardest hit areas through Saturday, prompting rainfall warnings in some places.
Gusty northerly winds and falling temperatures are also expected.
"And in southern Manitoba, we can't rule out the chance for isolated severe thunderstorms on Friday as well," says Monica Vaswani, a meteorologist at The Weather Network.
