Snowy weekend ahead for northern Ontario
Find Your Forecast
Friday, December 26, 2014, 12:47 PM - It was a warm Christmas for many in Ontario, but that's about to change.
A Colorado Low coming from the intermountain west will bring snow to northern Ontario later tonight. The bulk of the snow will arrive on Saturday and into Sunday.
While snow is only expected near the Sault Ste. Marie vicinity, that doesn't mean the south will be entirely free of bad weather.
"The same system will bring light drizzle to southern Ontario," said Brian Dillon.
Sault-Ste Marie and Timmins could see up to 15 cm of snow.
If the idea of snow saddens you, don't fret.
"The system should be gone by Sunday morning,"
