If you think one sinkhole is bad, how about several?
Eight homes, four of them apartments, had to be evacuated in one neighbourhood in the Pennsylvania town of Palmyra, after first one sinkhole, then several others, were discovered Friday.
One, more than two metres deep, appeared between two duplex homes, causing a chimney collapse.
Several other sinkholes were discovered soon other, forcing the closure of an entire street.
Heavy rains are being blamed for the sinkholes.
