Flooding in northern Saskatchewan has opened up a sinkhole on Highway 2.
RCMP in Prince Albert say both north and south traffic has been closed on the highway about 52 kilometres north of the Waskesiu turnoff.
Mounties and a crew from the province's highways department are at the scene.
There's no word on when the hole will be fixed, but for now, the main detour is via Highway 969.
Waskesiu Lake, north of Prince Albert, has been drenched with more than 120 mm of rain since Thursday, with nearby La Ronge getting around 46 mm since then.
