Being rounded up into the police van doesn't usually mean anything good.
Luckily, these seven pups had nothing to fear from Cst. Krista Mangan, the RCMP officer assigned to the B.C. community of Alexis Creek.
The RCMP says the community , located around 112 km west of Williams Lake, has a large population of strays, and when Cst. Mangan heard of a particular litter of seven puppies in need of good homes, she picked them up and
got to work.
By Thursday, the RCMP reported six had been given to good families, and the last one wouldn't be homeless for long.
"I have a soft spot for animals, and knew that I would be able to find homes for them easily," Cst. Mangan said in a release.
Mangan is an 11-year veteran of the B.C. RCMP who was assigned to Alexis Creek last year.
