Tuesday, November 4, 2014, 7:23 PM - Hallowe'en may be over but a remnant from the celebration wound up in Lake Michigan over the weekend, prompting a rescue mission from Chicago's coast guard.
According to local media, high winds caused a Hallowe'en barge to sink, sending debris -- including several zombie mannequins -- into Lake Michigan.
Chief Petty Officer Alan Haraf told reporters that a mannequin was found bobbing in the water and it had to be removed because it posed a "hazard to navigation."

Once the zombie was on board, the crew took the opportunity to perform a few training exercises, including performing CPR.
Haraf says he's pulled a few things out of the water before, but the zombie is one of the strangest.
