No catch: Check out the $1,000 mansion that's up for sale

There's no catch -- other than the fact that the house needs a bit of work in order to make it livable.
You'll need to replace the windows and have electricity and plumbing installed, but the house is sure to be a stunner once it's given a little TLC.
The 4,200 square-foot mansion is a Tudor-style home from the 1920s located in Boston Edison, an historic neighborhood in Detroit that's bursting with 20th-century homes and some incredible mansions.

The home is being put on the auction block by Building Detroit.com.
It's part of a plan to help boost the economy and bring people back to the nearly 80,000 vacant buildings in the city.
There are plenty of other homes up for sale, all starting at the $1000 mark.
Bidding on the website started earlier this month and several homes have already sold, some for more than $30,000.
